Former wiseguy Henry Hill — the notorious mobster portrayed in the big screen hit "Goodfellas" — has died in Los Angeles at age 69.
The Brooklyn native was an associate of the Lucchese crime family. He was considered a legend in the underworld before he became an FBI informant in the early 1980s.
His testimony helped nail dozens of mob members.
Hill's detailed stories about his life in organized crime, told in the book "Wiseguy: Life In A Mafia Family," were adapted for the big screen in Martin Scorsese's 1990 movie "Goodfellas."
During his final years, Hill was a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show.
Hill's longtime girlfriend said he died from heart complications related to smoking.
