"Fastrack" Repairs Begin On Brooklyn 2 Line Stretch

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority's "Fastrack" program is coming to Brooklyn this week.

A section of the 2 line will be shut down between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night, ending at 5 a.m. on Friday.

Service will be suspended between Franklin Avenue and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College in both directions.

Riders can use Q service to and from nearby stations.

There will also be free B44 Limited buses for service south on Nostrand Avenue and north on New York Avenue.
