The parents of Etan Patz are preparing to sue the man suspected in his disappearance.
Patz was six-years-old when he was last seen heading to a bus stop near his SoHo Home in 1979.
According to their attorney, Stanley and Julie Patz are putting together a wrongful death suit against Jose Ramos concerning Etan's disappearance.
Ramos was the boyfriend of Patz's babysitter. Police believe Ramos may have killed Etan, then burned the child's body in the boiler room of his East Village apartment building.
Ramos is currently serving up to 20 years in a Pennsylvania jail on an unrelated sex abuse charge.
The attorney says the Patz family is hoping the suit will bring out more clues about the boy's disappearance.
