Presidents' Day To Bring Closures, Altered Transit Schedules

Not only do many New Yorkers have the day off for the Presidents' Day holiday on Monday but there will also be some scheduling changes throughout the city.

Subways and buses will operate on a Saturday schedule.

The Staten Island Railway will run on a Sunday schedule.

City public schools will continue to be closed Monday and Tuesday for mid-winter recess.

Classes are back in session Wednesday, with regular school bus drivers in charge of the routes.

Alternate-side street parking rules are suspended Monday.

There will be no mail delivery or postal retail services Monday and financial markets will be closed.
