Police were searching Saturday for the gunman who killed one man and injured another in a restaurant in the Jamaica section of Queens that morning.

Officers received a call around 2 a.m. Saturday of a shooting at El Nuevo Cafe Latino restaurant at 144-11 Jamaica Avenue.

When they arrived, they found 27-year-old Jony Gonzales, who was shot in the chest and pronounced dead on the scene.

A 38-year-old man who was shot in the stomach was taken to Jamaica Hospital. By Saturday evening he was in stable condition.

Authorities said the shooting was related to an ongoing dispute.
