In return for pleading guilty to the Class D felony, Gristina is expected to be sentenced on November 20 to six months of a jail time-probation split.

Gristina served four months in jail before she was released on $250,000 bond in June, so her sentence will include time served.

A Manhattan judge warned Gristina Tuesday that she could be deported.

The judge also said Gristina showed poor judgment for having her young son present at the sentencing and said that the punishment was based on sentences for similar crimes.

Prosecutors claim Gristina ran a prostitution ring for 15 years out of an Upper East Side apartment.

Gristina was accused of arranging an encounter between two women and an undercover officer in July 2011.

Initially, prosecutors claimed Gristina had law enforcement connections, but now the prosecutor says there was no evidence of such connections.

Defense lawyers claim Gristina was running a match-making service.

Gristina's alleged co-conspirator, Jaynie Mae Baker, reportedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors in August but the details are still not public.
