Musical and drama fans flocked to Manhattan's Theater District on Sunday for the 26th annual Broadway Flea Market.

This annual event at Shubert Alley featured celebrities from Broadway’s biggest shows, live and silent auctions and exclusive backstage access.

Some of the most coveted prizes included an opportunity to meet actor-singer Barbra Streisand and the chance to have lunch with actor Angela Lansbury.

Other lots included opening night VIP tickets to 15 new Broadway shows, signed posters and shirts worn by Hugh Jackman and Ricky Martin.

"When the audience comes, they are the other collaborator in the show, so to have the audience there, come in and for us to be able to come in with them and mingle with them and talk with them and meet them is wonderful," said actor Bebe Neuwirth.

"Poverty and disease and unfairness are constant enemies and if you have chance to do something about them, why wouldn't you do that?" said actor Tyne Daly.

Proceeds from the event will go to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide. For more information, visit www.broadwaycares.org.
