Sources tell NY1 that a 15-year-old autistic boy who was found unconscious Tuesday on a Manhattan subway has been identified as a Brooklyn resident.

Police say officers found the boy around 10:30 a.m. on a northbound 3 train at 148th Street in Hamilton Heights.

They say the teenager was very dehydrated and taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.

Sources say the Administration for Children's Services is now involved with the case.
