Rangers Look To Take Series Lead Versus Capitals
The New York Rangers were in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, looking to take a 2-1 lead over the Capitals in their second-round Stanley Cup playoff series.
The Capitals tied the series at a game apiece with a 3-2 win Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
That sent the Rangers off the Washington to face a hostile crowd and a team led by star left winger Alexander Ovechkin.
"It's obviously going to be a different environment there for the whole team, but earlier we've dealt with those kind of situations," said Rangers forward Mike Rupp before the game.
Game 4 is set for Saturday afternoon in Washington, with Game 5 taking place Monday night in New York.
