The upstate town of Rhinebeck, N.Y. is bracing for a flood of celebrities and dignitaries who are expected to attend Chelsea Clinton's wedding.

Whipple's Wedding Watch

NY1's George Whipple will be in Rhinebeck with reports beginning on Sunday, covering all the excitement leading up to the big day.

The Former first daughter is marrying Marc Mezvinsky reportedly at an estate in the Hudson Valley village next Saturday.

Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have not officially confirmed the location, but state troopers say they have been working with the Secret Service to coordinate security in the area.

Two Norwegian journalists were arrested on trespassing charges for taking pictures of the Astor estate.

"My biggest concern has been what impact it will have on my downtown area," said Mayor Jim Reardon of Rhinebeck. "The Beacon Arms Hotel is the largest hotel in the area and what is going to happen in the event of a media crush, curious onlookers, paparazzi, traffic tie ups in that area -- a big concern."

"I live in a house with porch, and I do plan on spending a lot of my time next weekend on the porch watching the celebrities go back and forth," said one local.

"I think it's a lot of fun what's going on. We wish them very well," said another.

President Barack Obama, actress-singer Barbra Streisand, director Steven Spielberg and media mogul Oprah Winfrey are among those reported to be on the guest list.
