NY1 VIDEO: As NY1 revisits its 20-year history, the station looks back at reporter Ruschell Boone's August 2, 2007 coverage as City Councilman Dennis Gallagher was indicted on rape charges.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Gallagher later resigned from his position after pleading guilty to two misdemeanors related to the sexual abuse allegations. He served no jail time. His former district is now represented by Elizabeth Crowley, a Democrat, who won the seat in the election following his resignation.
