City Confirms Six More H1N1-Related Deaths
The New York City Department of Health Wednesday confirmed six more deaths linked to the H1N1 virus.
According to the agency's website, the latest figures bring the city's death toll to 38.
Identities of the victims have not been released, but health officials say they were all between the ages of 25 and 65. They also say underlying health conditions were a factor in most of the deaths.
Since the outbreak began in April, a total of 1,262 positive cases of swine flu have been reported across the city.
