Parents of Michael Brown Attend Harlem Prayer Gathering

The parents of Missouri teen Michael Brown, who was shot and killed by police in August, appeared Wednesday with Reverend Al Sharpton at his National Action Network in Harlem but did not answer questions from reporters. Updated 7:52 PM

Council Members Protest Ferguson Decision, Mayor Remains Neutral

Local political leaders are responding in anger to a decision by a Missouri grand jury not to indict a police officer in the death of Michael Brown. It comes as New Yorkers also ask whether the unrest in Ferguson could repeat here, among those protesting another racially-charged death at the hands of police, this time on Staten Island.
