Kids Can Cruise With Their Favorite Nickelodeon Characters

Sail the high seas with SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick, Dora and the rest of the Nickelodeon family on Norwegian Cruise Lines. NY1's Valarie D'Elia filed the following report.

Breakfast can be the best meal of the day for children sailing with their parents on Norwegian Cruise Line, thanks to a partnership with Nickelodeon aboard two of their ships. Now families can get their fill of SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer first thing in the morning.

For the ultimate sliming experience, consider booking passage on board two specially-themed voyages billed as "Nickelodeon All Access Cruises."

The first seven-day cruise takes place on the Norwegian Jewel, sailing conveniently from New York to the Bahamas on February 20, 2011. It's followed up in the summer by a European cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic, sailing from Barcelona, Spain on July 24.

Families who book an All Access Cruise by September 13, 2010 will receive between $25 to $250 in on-board credits, based on stateroom category, and will only have to ante up half of the normal deposit if they are booking anything but a suite or villa.

Besides personal time with the characters, the cruises present the opportunity for kids to meet the stars of Nickelodeon’s live action shows, and be the first to see exclusive showings of new episodes.

Starting rates are from $899 per person double occupancy on the Bahamas cruise out of New York and $1,299 per person double occupancy on the European sailing. Children are extra.
