With the 66th Annual Tony Awards almost here, Broadway's finest are getting ready for the big night.

The ceremony is set to take place at The Beacon Theatre on Sunday night.

The evening will feature performances from all of this year's Tony nominated shows including "Peter and the Starcatcher," "Newsies," "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess," "Once" and more.

Stage and screen favorite Neil Patrick Harris says he's thrilled to be returning as host of the Tonys for a third time.

"I love it, I love it," he said "I'm not able to perform here and I'm not able to be a part of this community when I live and spend so much time in Los Angeles. So to be able to represent in a big way all of the awesomeness that is Broadway and theater in general, I'd be hard-pressed to find a lot of reasons to get out of that."

Don't forget to tune into NY1 this Sunday starting at 6 p.m. for On Stage's Red Carpet Special.
