The legal battle involving "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” is about to play out in court.
Sources tell NY1 that courtroom arguments will begin in Manhattan on Friday.
Fired director Julie Taymor is suing the producers for more than $1 million in back pay and future royalties as well as copyright protections.
The producers are countersuing for alleged breach of contract.
The judge will consider several motions, including the producer's request to dismiss Taymor's copyright claims and a request by Taymor to dismiss the countersuit.
A trial could get begin as early as next year.
