The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will once again shut down parts of the Seventh Avenue subway line tonight as part of its FASTRACK maintenance program.
The agency says necessary maintenance work will get done faster because there are no trains running.
From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be no 1 train service between 34th Street and South Ferry.
2 trains will be shut down between 34th Street and Atlantic Avenue, and there will be no overnight service at all on the 3.
The work continues tomorrow night.
