Two people are under arrest in connection with a stabbing at a Bronx subway station.

Police say Victor Montalvo, 22, and Maritza Lopez, 21, seen above in surveillance video, are facing multiple charges including attempted murder, assault and criminal weapons possession.

The stabbing happened early yesterday morning at the Fordham Road station.

Investigators say a 19-year-old man and his friend had fallen asleep on a southbound 4 train and when they woke up, they noticed Montalvo holding the victim's cellphone.

Police say when the two men confronted Montalvo on the platform, he pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, then ran off with Lopez.

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
