Two of New York's Finest are being hailed heroes after saving the life of a newborn baby.

The New York City Police Department says Sergeant Michael Dario and Officer Elias Khan responded to a 911 call Sunday afternoon on 74th Street in Bay Ridge.

They say a mother called for help after her two-week-old child stopped breathing.

The officers were able to resuscitate the newborn.

The baby is now in stable condition at the hospital. ClientIP: UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
