A state Supreme Court judge raised the bail for the teen facing manslaughter charges in the death of Ariel Russo.
The bond for Franklin Reyes is now $50,000. It was initially set at $25,000 in 2013, after authorities say he was fleeing police when his SUV jumped the curb, killing the little girl.
But since then, the 17-year-old has been charged with petit larceny.
Last month, he was arrested for allegedly taking jewelry, cash and wine from the apartment of a woman who recently died.
His attorney says he denies taking anything and was in the apartment helping his father, the building's superintendent.
