The Brooklyn Bridge Park Board of Directors is holding a meeting Wednesday to discuss planned developments for Brooklyn Bridge Park.
It comes as the city is giving some idea of what the skyline over the greenspace might look like someday.
City planners called for proposals for two lots next to the park along the edge of Pier 6.
The proposals needed to follow certain requirements.
For example, one tower could not be any taller than 315 feet, while the other cannot top out any higher than 155 feet.
The two towers also need to include at least 130,000 square feet of affordable housing.
That translates to about 30 percent of the project.
Designers also have to create what is described as a "vibrant" entrance to the park.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation will select the winning proposal in the next few months.
