Police are looking for a man they say shot another man inside a grocery store in the Bronx over the weekend.

Investigators say the two men were arguing inside of a grocery store on Webster Avenue in Claremont Village around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the suspect fired his gun at the victim then pistol whipped him before fleeing the store.

The 37-year-old victim is in critical condition at Lincoln hospital.

Police say the two men knew each other and the crime is connected to gang violence.

The suspect is described as being around 5'10" tall and in his 30's, has braided hair and was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, a green baseball hat and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
