Police are asking for help identifying a man they say was part of a group that attacked a woman in the Bronx this past weekend.

Investigators say it happened around 3 a.m. Saturday outside 1538 University Avenue in Morris Heights.

Police say the suspect was captured inside a deli shortly before the attack.

They say the man pictured, along with several others, punched an 18-year-old woman repeatedly and hit her in the head with a bottle.

They then ran from the scene.

Police say the woman was knocked unconscious, with head injuries and chipped teeth.

She was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
