A modern furniture chain based in Brooklyn is going to help give Gracie Mansion a makeover.

The de Blasio family moved into the mansion on Sunday right after returning from their trip to Italy.

West Elm will furnish the bedrooms, a study, a family room, and a formal living room.

The donation was made to the Gracie Mansion Conservancy, so the furniture can remain there even after de Blasio leaves office.

The mansion has not been lived in since 2001 because Mayor Michael Bloomberg chose to continue to live in his Upper East Side townhouse.

A spokeswoman for the mayor says the furniture costs $65,000 dollars.
