The DOT is trying to solve a small problem that can be a big pain for drivers.
The agency is providing free ticket-holders to keep muni meter parking receipts in place on car dashboards.
Brooklyn Assemblyman Dov Hikind says he hears complaints that the receipts are too thin and flip over when drivers close their car doors.
Drivers are subject to $35 fines for not properly displaying their parking receipts.
Hikind is partnering with the DOT to distribute the receipt holders from his office in Borough Park.
