The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum reopened Wednesday following a power outage the day before.
Fire officials say two people suffered burns to their arms while making repairs to an outdoor transformer near the attraction on Tuesday.
A museum spokesperson says a volunteer was also hurt.
All of the injuries are considered minor.
The power outage shut down the museum for most of the day.
"I'm very disappointed for my teenage children that I brought with me today," said one Intrepid visitor. "It's really sad that there's been an accident today, that makes you feel it's not just that they don't want to let you on or whatever."
According to its website, the Intrepid began welcoming visitors starting at 10 a.m.
