A city cab driver has been charged with stealing more than $28,000 in unpaid tolls from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

The Queens district attorney's office says 69-year-old Rodolfo Sanchez would "piggyback" on cars directly in front of him in EZ-Pass lanes.

He would allegedly tailgate cars as they went through toll plazas on the RFK-Triborough Bridge and the Midtown Tunnel.

The DA accuses him of doing this more than 4,000 times in the last two years.

Sanchez faces up to seven years in prison if convicted. ClientIP: UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
