Part of Grand Central Terminal is being dedicated to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis today.

A ceremony is planned to rename the newly renovated entrance at Park Avenue and East 42nd Street as the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Foyer.

The entrance will also feature a plaque describing Onassis' efforts to save the Terminal from having a 53-story tower built on top of it.

Her work led the Supreme Court to uphold the city's Landmark Law in 1978, allowing the building to be preserved.
