In the midst of Pride week celebrations, the self-proclaimed "Drag Capital of the World" is closing its doors.
Lucky Cheng's, which touts itself at the first restaurant in the world to feature drag-queen servers, bartenders, and performers, will close Saturday.
Jamie Ryan's wife is a show host.
He said he hopes the restaurant can be saved.
"Keeping our fingers crossed," Ryan said. "It's a huge place. It's been here for 21 years, downtown and uptown. We're just hoping for the best. Think about it. This is Lucky Cheng's. Nobody has Lucky Cheng's in any of their states."
The restaurant confirmed over email that Saturday is in fact closing, but did not give a reason for the closure.
