Police have arrested a man in a connection with a fatal shooting that took place in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island last week.

Steven Mickens, 18, is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

On June 6, investigators say 54-year-old Anthony Clark was with another person selling scrap metal near Arlington Place and Grandview Avenue.

According to police, the two got into an argument with Mickens, and it escalated into the shooting.

Police say Mickens shot Clark in the torso and leg.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
