Neil Patrick Harris's run in the hit Broadway show “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” is coming to an end.

Harris is set to play his final performance on August 17.

On Sunday, he won an award for his performance in the show, in which he plays a German male transsexual rock singer.

The musical's producer says that Tony nominee Andrew Rannells will replace Harris.

Rannells earned a Tony nomination for his role in “The Book of Mormon.”

He also plays Elijah on the HBO show Girls.

Rannells will take over for a limited engagement starting August 20.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is currently playing at the Belasco Theater. ClientIP: UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
