Another round of federal funding is coming to the city to aid in Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

This latest round of aid gives the city almost a billion dollars, while the rest of the state will get about $600 million.

Mayor Bill de Blasio says the new funding ensures every homeowner in the Build it Back program will get the support they need.

Governor Andrew Cuomo says the state will use the money for infrastructure projects designed to prepare New York to withstand the impacts of future storms.
