A day after a judge ordered the three bidders who want to redevelop Long Island College Hospital to work together, SUNY Downstate outlined on Friday its plan to close the struggling facility in a few days time.

LICH already stopped accepting FDNY ambulances on Thursday, diverting them to other hospitals.

Now, it says it'll only accept walk in patients until 7 a.m. on May 22, the date it's set to close for good unless an agreement is reached.

Any patients remaining will be transferred to other hospitals.

On Thursday, a judge asked the top three bidders looking to develop the facility to put aside their differences and come to an agreement on what's best for LICH.

Brooklyn Health Partners had been chosen to redevelop the facility, but LICH's operator, SUNY Downstate, pulled the plug on the deal, saying it didn't believe BHP could deliver.

The group is now suing, claiming SUNY did not negotiate in good faith.
