Police are looking for a man they say stabbed a 19-year-old woman to death in the Bronx.
They've released the above photo of the person they want to speak with.
Officers found Jasmine Canton inside her home on Creston Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
She had been stabbed once in the chest.
She was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.
Neighbors said they're shocked this happened in their area.
"I would say it's safe," said one person in the neighborhood. "There's a lot of cops around a lot. They usually patrol a lot, either in the buildings or outside."
"Yeah, I could stop by and just say hi to anybody and I don't have no problems," said another person.
The suspect is described as between 20 and 30 years old, last seen wearing a black North Face fleece jacket and black pants.
