Police have arrested two Brooklyn men wanted for a brazen smash-and-grab heist at a Midtown jewelry store, and they've released new video as they search for three more suspects.

Allen Williams, 35, and Roberto Grant, 33, are facing robbery charges in connection with the theft of 16 watches worth about $700,000 from the Cartier shop at Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street.

Police say the men seen at left were among a group who used hammers to smash a glass case containing the watches at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

They allegedly made off with 16 watches worth about $700,000.

"There's been a series of similar-type robberies, and we're comfortable that we may, in fact, be able to deal with some of those as we go forward," said Police Commissioner Bill Bratton. "To have something like that happen in the heart of our shopping district is, needless to say, something we don't like to see, but the fact that it was cleared up so quickly, and maybe even more importantly that we may be able to solve a number of similar incidents, great work."

Bratton also said that some of the stolen property has been recovered.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
