Mayor Bill de Blasio announced two appointments to his administration Friday.

City Hall veteran Stacey Cumberbatch will take over the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, and the former chief of staff for Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, John Paul Lupo, will now head the Office of City Legislative Affairs.

At the announcement, de Blasio said both were dedicated public servants and he was proud to have them serve in his administration.

"She is a savvy, native New Yorker," de Blasio said of Cumberbatch, who most recently served as the deputy executive director of the Financial Information Services Agency. "She’s got the right mindset and the right skills."

“So grounded in values of fairness, equity and justice, I take on the task of ensuring that DCAS uses all of its levers to create opportunities for all New Yorkers,” said Cumberbatch.

"I look forward to helping the mayor enact an agenda that lifts people up, working with leaders in every corner of New York City to be responsive to what New Yorkers need at the grassroots level,” Lupo said.

As head of DCAS, Cumberbatch will oversee all of the city's back-office operations.

Meanwhile, Lupo, a Brooklyn native and current borough resident, will act as a liaison of-sorts between the administration and the City Council, borough presidents, comptroller and public advocate.
