A Queens man is being charged in connection with 1978's infamous Lufthansa heist at John F. Kennedy International Airport, one of the biggest thefts in U.S. history.
Vincent Asaro is one of five men named in the indictment.
All five are accused of being members of the Bonanno organized crime family.
The indictment includes charges ranging from murder to illegal gambling, from the 1960s through last year.
Asaro is accused of helping to direct the Lufthansa robbery famously depicted in the mob movie "Goodfellas," in which $6 million in cash and jewelry were stolen from a cargo terminal.
He's also accused of murder, and his son, Jerome, is accused of helping to cover it up.
Last June, investigators discovered human remains at the former home of Jimmy Burke, the alleged mastermind of the airport robbery.
Both Asaros have pleaded not guilty and are being held without bail until their next court appearance.
Another defendent, John Ragano of of Queens, pleaded not guilty to extortion.
