Police are searching for two people that they say mugged an 89-year-old woman in Brooklyn.

On Saturday morning, police say the two suspects seen above followed the woman into her East New York apartment.

Police say the male suspect put her in a chokehold while the female took her pocketbook, which contained bank cards and an undetermined amount of money.

The suspects then ran out of the building.

The victim was unharmed.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
