The family of a teenager shot to death outside a party in Brooklyn is pleading for help in finding his killer.
Police say Iquan Williams, 16, was found shot in the head Saturday night on Prospect Place in Brownsville.
Family members says they tried to keep him from going to the party after his brother read on Facebook that someone was planning to bring a gun.
"My son wasn't the intended target. He wasn't. He didn't want to stay. He said 'I'm going home.' My baby walked out and got killed. He never made it home," said Tiana Williams, the victim's mother.
"I thought this would never happen to me. I teach my kids every day about the street and how bad it is and what's out there. He was 16 I guess he wanted to live. He went to this party that I didn't know anything about. He shouldn't have went to. He was there at the wrong time," said Keith Williams, the victim's father.
So far, police have no motive for the shooting.
