A Bronx man was arrested Monday and charged for allegedly scamming several job seekers.
Joan Ramirez-Delarosa is charged with scheme to defraud, grand larceny and petit larceny.
Investigators believe Delarosa went by the alias John Rosa.
They say that in August, he released multiple ads in a Spanish language newspaper for a cleaning job in the Bronx.
However, the job did not exist, according to police.
Police say that when candidates showed up to an office in East Tremont, they were asked for money to secure the job and buy uniforms.
As many as 11 victims came forward.
