The New York City Police Department is asking for your help finding the man who allegedly stole jewelry from a 3-year-old in Queens.

Police say the man in the above surveillance images followed the young girl and her mother into a McDonald's in Jackson Heights last Friday.

He allegedly waited for the young girl to go upstairs, and then snatched a gold necklace off her neck.

The man is described as in his 40s.

He was wearing a gray button down shirt and blue jeans at the time.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
