A Queens elementary school teacher arrested in February is now accused of molesting a total of five boys.
49-year-old Wilbert Cortez was originally charged with fondling two young boys in his classroom earlier this year.
On Thursday, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown announced that Cortez has been charged with inappropriately touching three other male students between 2007 and 2011.
Cortez was a computer teacher at P.S. 174 in Rego Park.
He was reassigned and removed from the classroom after the allegations first surfaced.
His next court date is on June 11.
