Conan O'Brien's show is returning to the New York stage, as opposed to television.

The comedian and talk show host has scheduled two performances at Radio City Music Hall this June as part of a two-month, 30-city live music and comedy tour.

O'Brien has been off the small screen since January, when he negotiated his release from hosting The Tonight Show.

Low ratings for Jay Leno's primetime show led NBC to return Leno to the 11:35 p.m. slot, which O'Brien had held since May 2009.

The two Radio City shows, on June 1-2, will feature O'Brien's sidekick Andy Richter and the former "Tonight Show" band.

Due to a separation agreement with NBC that keeps O'Brien from returning to TV until September 1, Conan is calling his live shows the "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television" tour.
